About Me

My name is Kim and I live in a small town just west of St Louis Missouri.  I spent my life (since the age of 14) working with children.  I've been a babysitter, camp counselor, pre-school teacher, nanny and kindergarten teacher.  I've loved my life as a teacher but my degree is in English with a specialty in Writing.  

To be absolutely honest my first love is writing.  A few years back I ventured into the world of blogging. Back then (2010 or so) it was so much easier.  You just wrote and you were found.  My last blog had over 922,000 visits.  Not too bad for not knowing what I was doing.

Once again I've decided to venture into the world of blogging.  Just like my first blog I will be sharing recipes, cooking tips and other kitchen/cooking related content.  But I will also be sharing some day trips along with hidden gems found along the way.  I'm hoping to inspire and of course teach, but also share my two loves- food and travel.
